Bearar; Adoption Center

Bearars are best known for their impressive levels of strength and stamina. Despite being rather small and energetic when they are born, they grow into beautiful, powerful beasts. The species boasts a pair of elegant wings, but these appendages are rarely - if ever - significant enough to support the weight of a fully grown Bearar. While they cannot often enjoy sustainable flight, gliding for short distances has been observed countless times.

When considering the Bearar’s temperament and habits, while they may seem stoic and intimidating at first, the creatures are fiercely loyal and dedicated to their loved ones. The might that they possess is wielded with great care and respect; most do not throw their strength around carelessly. Once you have befriended a Bearar, you are guaranteed an honorable friend and guardian.

Old Description;

Bearars have long been featured in the folklore of Kaylune, principally known for their massive amounts of stamina and strength. This does not mean that they lack beauty; only owners and friends of these magnificent beasts tend to see or get a glimpse of these shining hidden qualities, but they are well worth the effort. Bearars tend to be born quite small and filled with almost manic energy, trying to fly every chance they can get. However, they never stray far from their formidable parents, scared of other predators, and despite their energy, can seem rather shy. As they age, they grow quickly, becoming stronger with every passing day, culminating in large, stalwart forms and a wingspan of over thirty feet, built to take their weight over long stretches of land. It's rumored that they can reach speed above thirty miles an hour over land and over seventy in the air. Fully-grown, they consider themselves to be one of the toughest predators in the world, and their typically stoic or off-setting demeanor can make them hard to befriend, but close companions of these creatures will find themselves a loyal and lovable friend who will never leave their side.
