Chidos; Cash Shop Pet
The Chidos are a unique and exquisite type of creature, with soft, oddly-textured hair and crystals that grow in various places on their body.
As they are extremely rare, Chidos are viewed as one of the most mysterious pets on Kayrth; beautiful, elegant, and much sought-after, despite the difficulty in seeking them out.
Most sightings of this pet take place deep in the forest, and often in groups numbering three or four members, as they depend on one another to forage for food and stay safe.
The aforementioned mysterious crystals on their backs and horns are why most Chidos are hunted by greedy explorers, almost to extinction.
They are understandably shy and wary around outsiders, and when given the chance, are habitual creatures that recoil around the unfamiliar unless it guarantees safety.
Yet, if one is exploring and feeling lucky, they may still be able to catch a glimpse of this cautious creature, or even become friends.
Restraint must be shown when approaching one, however, or else the ambitious traveler may only end up with a kick to the head for their troubles.
