However, the recent discovery of the legendary Elsar's secluded haven on a treacherous and hidden summit eventually vindicated at least some of these adventurers.
While there is still much to learn about these distant creatures, well-documented is the fact that each Elsar is an entirely unique work of art, their tough and thick scales decorated with impressively intricate designs.
Sharp spikes protrude from their backs, and their heavy-duty wings are rumored to contribute to their phenomenal stamina.
Because of their sheltered natures, they rarely treat strangers with kindness, and, if fact, will more often than not inflict burns on annoyingly persistent persons.
These pets aren't for the faint of heart or lovers of peace, as they are a race of warriors born, carrying a passionate fire for battle reflected in the heat of their breaths.
Very few individuals of their species see the need for socializing, tending only to vocalize when fighting or giving out blunt, gruff advice lacking in any sort of sugarcoating.
Still, once a being has proven themselves and are seen as precious to an Elsar, they will do anything and everything for that valued companion with unmatched loyalty.
